Professional Tennis Coaching James Corin joins the tennis team with a wealth of experience and knowledge and is ready to share with you! Originally from the UK James started playing tennis at 13years of age. Although a late starter James enjoyed competing in local and regional tournaments enjoying success in singles and doubles competitions as well as National Club Leagues, British Tour events and representing School, club and university sides all over the UK, as well as training and hitting partner for the National Deaf Champion in the UK. James’s coaching career began as an assistant at 16 years old but at 18 quickly progressed to taking session of beginners and improvers of all ages at his local club. After completing a National Diploma in Sports science James went on to gain a degree at UWIC Cardiff, in Sports and Leisure Management whilst playing university tennis and competing in Welsh Premier league teams. After University James’s coaching career has taken him all over the world and in a variety of roles in 5 star clubs and resorts. Roles such as Junior Development co-ordinator at Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai, Head of summer camps in Atlanta Georgia USA and Director of Tennis at the exclusive Al Bustan Palace in Muscat, La Samanna resort on the Caribbean Island of St Maarten, Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort in Thailand where he built and ran an exciting and popular program of coaching and events & then building programs in Singapore. James has a wealth of tennis coaching experience and enjoys working with all ages and levels of players from beginners to regional and nationally ranked players and also ITF, Orange Bowl and Academy/Tour Level players. Qualifications include Lawn Tennis Association, PTR, USTA, British Tennis Coaches Association and UK Racket Stringers Association and RPT competency. Interests outside of tennis include travel, keeping fit, movies, martial arts, reading, music, psychology and philosophy. An interesting mix!

In Singapore, Adelo has been competing over the last 8 years and has won a record 28 Singapore open titles and has held the number 1 ranking for most of the last 8 years. Hello everybody. Fred Senechal here. My tennis journey began at the age of 10 when I first started playing the game at home in northern France. At 14, I left home to join the tennis club Phocéen Lumigny in Marseille to train and to learn to teach tennis. Here I was a hitting partner for Paul-Henri Mattieu, who subsequently reached a world ranking of 12. In 1995 I joined the Regional Sports College of Reims to train to be a professional tennis coach under the instruction of French national coach, Gerard Valentin. After that, I taught in a number of different clubs in France, including Club Med and then, to improve my English, I spent a year in England teaching tennis at the Nottingham tennis centre.
