Alok is one of the handful former ATP and ITF ranked players and coaches in Singapore. He won the junior nationals and was ranked number #1 in junior doubles before accepting an Academic and Athletic Scholarship in USA to study and represent the university in NCAA Championships. Not only was Alok the co-captain of the University tennis team, but he was also awarded the Scholar Athlete Award and made it to the Academic Deans list with a degree in Finance. Alok is a Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) Certified coach with vast international coaching experience which includes 6 years coaching at a reputed academy in USA. Since arriving in Singapore, he has won the ActiveSG and Pesta Sukan Veteran Singles event in 2017 and Pesta Sukan Doubles event in 2019.
