R&B YOGA IS A POP-UP YOGA STUDIO THAT ORIGINATED IN CHICAGO AND IS NOW BASED IN LOS ANGELES. CLASSES ARE TAUGHT TO R&B AND HIP HOP MUSIC. WE PROMOTE BODY POSITIVITY AND WELCOME ALL LEVELS.

Lauren Spearman is a yoga instructor and social entrepreneur working to address health, wealth, and access to yoga in Black and Latinx communities. She trained in Guatemala becoming certified through The School Yoga Institute at the Mystical Yoga Farm. At a young age, she noticed the lack of diversity in the yoga community and always felt excluded. She founded R&B Yoga at the age of 23 in Chicago, where she was born and raised. She started R&B Yoga to create a safe space for all ethnicities, all body types, and all levels. She brought R&B Yoga to Los Angeles at the age of 24 and has since had partnerships with Adidas, Macy’s, and OUE Skyspace LA. She has taught private classes at Warner Records, Planned Parenthoods National Conference, & Cartoon Network with Black Women Animate. R&B Yoga has featured in KTLA, Bucket Listers, and TimeOut.
