Dry Needling Therapy (DNT) is a treatment technique that utilizes thin, solid filament needles to deactivate and desensitize trigger points in muscles. Manual Therapy Orthopaedic Manual physical therapy (OMT) techniques are skilled hand movements and skilled passive movements of joints and soft tissue and are intended to improve tissue extensibility; increase range of motion; induce relaxation; mobilize or manipulate soft tissue and joints; modulate pain; and reduce soft tissue swelling, inflammation, or restriction. Techniques may include manual traction, massage, mobilization/manipulation, and passive range of motion.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Usually, when people hear about Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Massage they think it’s only for individuals who have lymphedema. While its reputation as a form of medical massage therapy isn’t undeserved, Lymphatic Drainage has recently become a technique of choice among a variety of massage lovers due to its many benefits.

Post-Surgical Rehabilitation Rehabilitation is the post-surgical program of re-establishing joint motion, muscle strength around the joint and finally joint function. It is very important to understand that rehabilitation is a long process. While the surgery is performed within hours, the rehabilitation needs many months, potentially up to a year. The difference between the length of the surgery and the time needed for rehabilitation is huge, and patients should have that clearly in mind.

Craniosacral Therapy Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy focuses on settling the nervous system to release held trauma and tensions to re-establish health through gentle touch . It gently unwinds the nervous system from patterns of compression, hypervigilance and inertia to states of ease, resource and flow. It is becoming a treatment of choice in areas of pain, rehabilitation and neurology.

Acupuncture Acupuncture is one of the many skills used within physiotherapy as an integrated approach to the management of musculoskeletal pain, inflammation and as a means of enhancing the body’s own healing chemicals in order to aid recovery and enhance rehabilitation. Acupuncture within physical therapy is used within the background of clinical and research evidence.
